Enkele maanden na de elektrische GT vierdeurscoup\u00e9<\/a>, Mercedes-AMG nu <\/span>lanceringen<\/span> de<\/span> SUV-versie, <\/span>twee jaar geleden voor het eerst aangekondigd<\/span><\/a>. De specificatielijst <\/span>van het tweede elektrische model van het merk AMG <\/span>is al even indrukwekkend. <\/span>P<\/span>prijzen beginnen bij \u20ac 116.160 <\/span>op de Belgische markt.<\/span><\/p>\n

Het ontwerp vertaalt de lijnen en details van de GT naar een SUV-carrosserie. Met een lengte van 5,054 meter en een hoogte van 1,656 meter is hij bijna 25 centimeter hoger dan de vierdeurscoup\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Door zijn SUV-vormen is deze auto praktischer dan de vierdeurs GT. De kofferbak heeft een inhoud van 607 liter, en tot 1.740 liter als de achterbank is neergeklapt. Alle uitvoeringen beschikken bovendien over een \u2018frunk\u2019 van 111 liter (78 liter volgens de VDA-methode).<\/p>\n

Herkenbaar ontwerp<\/b><\/h4>\n

Door de kenmerkende designelementen is hij direct herkenbaar als een Mercedes-AMG en als broertje van de vierdeurs GT. Hij heeft aan de voorkant een vergelijkbare gesloten grille, met optionele verlichting, en wordt geflankeerd door koplampen waarin stervormige dagrijlichten zijn ge\u00efntegreerd.<\/p>\n

Ook aan de achterzijde is het opvallende zwarte paneel met zes ronde lampen op de SUV terug te vinden.<\/p>\n

De Mercedes-AMG GT SUV beschikt over actieve aerodynamische functies, die \u2018Aerokinetics\u2019 worden genoemd. De ge\u00efntegreerde dakspoiler en het Airpanel in de voorbumper zijn ontworpen om de luchtweerstand bij lage snelheden te verminderen. Bij hogere snelheden klapt de spoiler omhoog om meer neerwaartse druk te genereren, terwijl het Airpanel opengaat om voor meer koeling te zorgen.<\/p>\n

Axiale motoren<\/b><\/h4>\n

De Mercedes-AMG GT SUV wordt gebouwd op hetzelfde AMG.EA-platform als de vierdeurs GT. Terwijl het basismodel gebruikmaakt van twee synchrone motoren (voor en achter), maken de krachtigste versies gebruik van een opstelling met drie axiale-fluxmotoren met ge\u00efntegreerde planetaire tandwielen (\u00e9\u00e9n voorin, twee achterin).<\/p>\n

Deze motoren, die zijn gebaseerd op technologie van de Britse specialist Yasa (die eigendom is van Mercedes), zijn zowel compact als zeer krachtig. De technologie zou later ook in \u2018bescheidener\u2019 Mercedes-modellen kunnen worden toegepast. Een vergelijkbare opstelling met drie motoren wordt al gebruikt in de AMG CLA 45 4Matic+, maar met een vermogen van 680 hp kan die nauwelijks \u2018bescheiden\u2019 worden genoemd.<\/p>\n

Alle uitvoeringen van de Mercedes-AMG GT SUV zijn in de eerste plaats achterwielaangedreven, met \u00e9\u00e9n motor op de achteras bij de basisuitvoering en twee bij de krachtige modellen. De motor aan de voorzijde wordt alleen ingeschakeld wanneer extra grip of vermogen nodig is.<\/p>\n

Tot 1.169 hp <\/b><\/h4>\n

De SUV zal verkrijgbaar zijn in drie vermogensvarianten. De basisversie is het \u201853\u2019-model, met een vermogen tot 400 kW (544 pk), 800 Nm en een acceleratie van 0 naar 100 km\/u in 4,2 seconden. De \u201855\u2019 levert maximaal 600 kW (816 pk) en 1.860 Nm koppel, met een acceleratie van 0 tot 100 km\/u in 3,1 seconden.<\/p>\n

De topversie is de \u201863\u2019, met een vermogen tot 860 kW (1.169 pk), 2.000 Nm en een sprint van 0 naar 100 km\/u in 2,5 seconden. <\/span>Met deze cijfers richt Mercedes-AMG zich duidelijk op de elektrische Porsche Cayenne<\/a>. De Cayenne Turbo Electric, de krachtigste versie, levert tot 850 kW en heeft een vergelijkbare sprinttijd.<\/span><\/p>\n

Afgezien van het maximale vermogen van de twee krachtigste uitvoeringen, is ook hun continuvermogen indrukwekkend: 530 kW.<\/p>\n

Tot 700 km en 710 kW gelijkstroomopladen<\/b><\/h4>\n

Het 800V NCM-accupakket maakt gebruik van direct gekoelde cilindrische cellen. Het heeft een capaciteit van 106 kWh (met 18 modules, standaard op alle uitvoeringen) of 128 kWh (met 22 modules, optioneel op de \u201855\u2019 en \u201863\u2019). Met deze laatste variant heeft de SUV een actieradius van maximaal 700 km.<\/p>\n

Het maximale gelijkstroomlaadvermogen is bij de SUV hoger dan bij het vierdeursmodel, namelijk 600 kW. Met een maximum van 710 kW kan de Mercedes-AMG GT SUV in slechts 11 minuten van 10 tot 80% opladen bij een laadpaal met het juiste vermogen. In 10 minuten wordt het bereik met 450 km vergroot.<\/p>\n

De centrale, intelligente koelhub van de auto regelt het koelproces van alle onderdelen, zowel tijdens het rijden als tijdens het opladen. Dit zou de algehele koeleffici\u00ebntie moeten verbeteren en onder alle omstandigheden voor maximale prestaties moeten zorgen.<\/p>\n

Rijdynamiek<\/b><\/h4>\n

De sportieve ambities van de Mercedes-AMG GT SUV beperken zich niet tot de prestatiecijfers. Ook tal van andere kenmerken moeten worden geoptimaliseerd met het oog op wegligging en rijdynamiek. Dat is geen overbodige luxe, gezien het gewicht van maar liefst 2,7 ton, ondanks het uitgebreide gebruik van aluminium en composietmaterialen.<\/p>\n

Het AMG Active Ride Control+-onderstel, standaard op het \u201863\u2019-model en als optie leverbaar op het \u201855\u2019-model, biedt de meest meeslepende rijervaring. Het combineert luchtvering, actieve hydraulische dempers en actieve hydraulische stabilisatorstangen.<\/p>\n

De achterwielbesturing zorgt voor een betere wendbaarheid bij lage snelheden en meer stabiliteit bij hoge snelheden. Koolstofkeramische remmen zijn standaard op het topmodel en optioneel op de \u201855\u2019.<\/p>\n

De instelling AMGForce Sport+ genereert een kunstmatig motorgeluid. Bij de \u201863\u2019 en \u201855\u2019 klinkt het als een AMG V8, terwijl de \u201853\u2019 het geluid van een AMG V6 krijgt. Deze instelling zorgt ook voor gesimuleerde schakelbewegingen.<\/p>\n

Met de AMG Race Engineer kan de bestuurder via drie knoppen op de middenconsole de gasrespons, wendbaarheid en tractie van de auto regelen.<\/p>\n

Bestellingen worden nu aangenomen<\/b><\/h4>\n

Mercedes-AMG opent op 20 oktober de bestellijsten voor het basismodel \u201853\u2019. De basisprijs van het model voor de Belgische markt bedraagt \u20ac 116.160. De twee krachtigere versies komen in het voorjaar van 2027 op de markt; de prijzen worden kort voor de lancering bekendgemaakt.<\/p>\n
