De nieuwe EU-markt voor personenauto\u2019s toont een opmerkelijke veerkracht. Volgens de Europese Vereniging van Autofabrikanten (ACEA) steeg het aantal nieuwe registraties in september met 9,3% en sinds het begin van het jaar met 5,7%, ondanks een uitdagend macro-economisch klimaat dat wordt gekenmerkt door aanhoudend stijgende energieprijzen en geopolitieke tegenwind.<\/p>

De vraag naar diverse soorten elektrische voertuigen bleef sterk, met name op de grote Europese markten, dankzij stimuleringsmaatregelen voor kopers en een breder modelaanbod. Hybride elektrische voertuigen waren de populairste aandrijflijnkeuze onder kopers (36,31 TP3T), terwijl volledig elektrische auto\u2019s en plug-in-hybriden respectievelijk 22,71 TP3T en 10,11 TP3T van de EU-markt voor hun rekening namen.<\/p>
