D’Ieteren to import Maserati in Belgium

Maserati and D’Ieteren Luxury Performance, the Luxury division of D’Ieteren Mobility Company, a 100% Subsidiary of D’Ieteren Automotive, have joined forces and further expanded their cooperation for the Belgian market.

As of May 28, 2025, D’Ieteren Luxury Performance is the sole distributor of Maserati in Belgium, operating with three sales outlets in Antwerp, Brussels, and Ghent.

Maserati and D’Ieteren Luxury Performance began their partnership in early 2024 with the opening of Maserati Center Antwerp in Wommelgem. This was the first experience with the Italian brand. Now, the cooperation is being extended further.

D’Ieteren Mobility Company is acquiring the two existing ACG Maserati branches in Brussels and Ghent. With this move, D’Ieteren Luxury Performance becomes the only Maserati distributor in Belgium. It will handle sales, service, and after-sales support, and will also oversee all staff in both locations.

Complete revamp

Luca Parasacco, Head of Maserati Europe, commented: “We are delighted to strengthen our partnership with D’Ieteren Luxury Performance further. The opening of the Maserati Center Antwerp last year was a significant first step in the active implementation of our model offensive. The current acquisition of the branches in Brussels and Ghent is not only a clear sign of D’Ieteren’s strong confidence in our brand, but also a strategic move.”

“This partnership will generate concrete value for both parties and play a key role in establishing Maserati as a leading luxury automotive brand in the Belgian market. I want to take this opportunity as well to thank ACG Group for paving the way for the future success of our Brussels and Ghent branches,” he added.

Eric Cortois, CEO of D’Ieteren Luxury Performance, responded: “We are delighted to be able to welcome the Maserati brand to our luxury division, thus completing our offer to our customers with a brand that is making automotive history with 110 years of experience in luxury and performance. We are confident in the brand’s vision and its new board. We are starting a new partnership fitting into the history of our company.”

As a next step in the partnership, D’Ieteren Luxury Performance will completely revamp the Maserati branches in Brussels and Ghent, which will continue under the new names Maserati Brussels and Maserati East Flanders. Maserati Center Antwerp becomes Maserati Antwerp from now on.

D’Ieteren is now by far the largest importer of sporty and luxury brands in the Benelux, representing the high-end brands of the Volkswagen Group, including Bentley, Lamborghini, Porsche, as well as Bugatti and Rimac, and now also Maserati.

The entire Maserati range is currently available for testing at all three dealerships for customers. Additionally, all locations feature premieres in the form of the all-electric GranTurismo & GranCabrio Folgore as well as the brand’s new performance flagship, the recently launched Maserati GT2 Stradale.

Mixed feelings

“It is with mixed feelings that I sold ACG Maserati to D’Ieteren Luxury Performance,” said Tom De Bryckere, former CEO of ACG Maserati. “For 14 years, I had the honor of distributing this magnificent Italian brand. I will always be a fan of the make and will never depart from my Ghibli AM115 and my Quattroporte Sport GTS.”

The yearly sales of Maserati in the Belux turn around 150 units, but sales figures are fluctuating enormously. “In an excellent year, we could sell 270 Maseratis, but in a bad year, it was hard to reach 100. As a company with 130 employees, ACG was too small to absorb these kinds of fluctuations.,” De Bruyckere said to the newspaper De Tijd.

ACG is now focusing on its other six sales and service outlets in East and West Flanders, representing brands such as Jaguar Land Rover, Polestar, and others. De Bruyckere is looking for an alternative for Maserati, but he can’t say which yet.
