Mobility is changing.
We connect the dots.
Newmobility.news is the publishing platform of B2BNews Agency, an independent Belgian news agency specialised in the forces reshaping mobility.
That means looking far beyond the vehicle itself. Automotive and transport increasingly intersect with energy, charging infrastructure, technology, artificial intelligence, climate and environmental policy, urban development, legislation and changing consumer behaviour.
Our job is to follow those connections every day and explain what they mean for professionals.
Make sense of the mobility transition
Mobility is undergoing one of the most profound transformations in its history. Electrification is linking cars and transport to the energy system. Software and artificial intelligence are changing vehicles and factories. Climate policy is reshaping regulation and investment. New forms of mobility are changing cities, logistics and the way people travel.
Newmobility.news follows these developments as one interconnected story. Our mission is not simply to report what happened. We want to identify the trends behind the news, compare developments across companies and countries, return to earlier stories when circumstances change and give readers enough context to understand why a development matters.
We aim to be a trusted specialist source for professionals who need to understand where mobility is going next.

A newsroom,
not an aggregator
Every working day, our journalists monitor companies, governments, institutions and specialist sources across Europe and beyond.
We check information against original sources, combine several sources where that adds value and place new developments in context.
The result is 7–10 original stories every working day, backed by a searchable archive of more than 6,000 articles and published across English, Dutch and French editions.
Our business model is built around the journalism. Revenue comes primarily from paid subscriptions, content licensing and newsroom services for professional organisations. We also accept a limited amount of clearly identified sponsored content. We deliberately avoid relying on display advertising, helping us keep the site focused on journalism rather than traffic volume or ad impressions.
European roots,
international outlook
Newmobility.news is based in Belgium, at the heart of Europe and close to many of the institutions and policy decisions shaping the mobility transition.
Our reporting is European in perspective but international in scope. Developments in China, the United States, Japan or elsewhere increasingly determine what happens in European automotive, technology and energy markets.
That international perspective is reflected in the readership too. Newmobility.news has a strong Benelux core but reaches professionals well beyond its home markets.
Built as a professional
news service
Newmobility.news has its roots in Gopressmobility, launched within Belga News Agency in April 2017.
It became Newmobility.news in 2018 and later developed into a fully independent operation owned by B2BNews Agency, founded by members of the team behind the original news service.
That background still shapes what we do today: produce concise, reliable B2B journalism for readers who need to understand developments quickly, while retaining enough depth and context to make the information useful.
Specialist journalists
with decades of experience
Newmobility.news is produced every working day by a team of professional journalists.
The newsroom is led by founders Joris Van Roy, Managing Editor, and Tony Verhelle, Editor-in-Chief, who each bring more than three decades of experience covering automotive and mobility.
What unites the team is a belief that mobility should no longer be covered in isolation. Vehicles, energy, technology, industry, infrastructure, environment and policy are increasingly parts of the same transformation.
