Alpine extends its distribution network in Belgium

Reinforced by its recent sales successes, Alpine is substantially enlarging its dealer network in Belgium. “This strategic enlargement follows the dynamic growth curve of Alpine and shows that Alpine wants to be even closer to its customers to deploy its electric portfolio progressively,” says the importer, Renault Belgium.

Alpine already has ‘Alpine Stores’ in Antwerp, Zaventem (east Brussels), Ghent, Liège, Turnhout (northern Antwerp province), and Marche-en-Famenne. Five others will be added to the Renault Group network in the near future under the name ‘Alpine Discovery’. They will be situated in Mechelen, Kortrijk, Hasselt, Mons, and Charleroi.

Integrated spaces for Alpine

The five new ‘Alpine Discovery’ spaces will be integrated at the distribution partners of the Renault Group dealer network. They want potential customers to learn about the Alpine world, its DNA and know-how, but surely about the new electric cars, the A290 (a sporty version of the Renault 5 Electric) and the A390, a totally new, electric 5-seater. Within a year, they will be joined by the fully electric successor of the A110 sports car.

These Alpine Discovery branches will also provide after-sales service for Alpine cars, serving as the local point of contact for maintenance and eventual updates. From the beginning, the new Renault sub-brand Alpine has paid close attention to its customer relationships, which has led to the expansion of its distribution network.

Commercial ambitions

An expansion that also underscores the brand’s commercial ambitions, especially in the (important) fleet market. With its new, electric products, Alpine wants to be present in that (for Belgium) all-important market segment, too.

By strengthening its distribution network, Alpine confirms its ambition to become a significant player in the premium electric sports cars segment. Better nationwide coverage, a growing model line, and strong fleet ambitions are the key factors for growth in the Belgian market, Alpine claims.
