Jeep’s commercial results in Europe at the end of September 2024 show a volume of registrations of 100,700 units, an increase of 3.5%, and a market share of 1%.
“We are thrilled to announce that Jeep sales in Europe have surpassed 100,000 vehicles, demonstrating that our commitment to delivering a brand that embodies freedom and adventure meets large success. These impressive results exemplify our ability to adapt to diverse markets,” commented Eric Laforge, Head of the Jeep brand in Enlarged Europe.
“The remarkable reception of the Jeep Avenger, our first fully electric SUV, is a testament to our innovative spirit and the distinct appeal of our vehicles. It reflects our dedication to sustainability and reinforces our promise of ‘Freedom of Choice’ with our diverse offer, and we’ll strengthen our footprint across Europe with the coming Avenger 4xe version.”
Italy, France, the UK, and the Netherlands are sticking out
Jeep’s excellent results are well distributed across the Old Continent, but Italy remains the home market for Jeep. Notable results emerge from France, with registrations nearing 9,000 units, an impressive 61% increase compared to last year.
Over 6,000 registrations were made in the UK, an extraordinary 155% increase from 2023. In the Netherlands, registrations grew by 81%.
Jeep Avenger
The Jeep Avenger plays an important role here. It ranks just below the podium among 100% electric B-SUVs in 29 EU countries, standing third in France and the Netherlands.
In a key market like Italy, where the Jeep brand has a market share of 4.5% in the passenger car industry, the Avenger is the best-selling SUV overall in the first nine months of the year across all powertrains, and it’s the third best-selling model in the total passenger car industry in Italy.
The Avenger is the brand’s first 100% electric SUV. It also has an e-Hybrid version with an automatic transmission while awaiting the hybrid 4xe all-wheel-drive model. The car has won tenders with Italian government agencies such as the Fire Brigade, Carabinieri, and Guardia di Finanza for a volume exceeding 1,200 units.
“The remarkable reception of the Jeep Avenger, our first fully electric SUV, is a testament to our innovative spirit and the distinct appeal of our vehicles,” remarked Laforge. “It reflects our dedication to sustainability and reinforces our promise of ‘Freedom of Choice’ with our diverse offer, and we’ll strengthen our footprint across Europe with the coming Avenger 4xe version.”
New Compass
Meanwhile, the Jeep brand yesterday previewed the next generation Jeep Compass with a design sketch of the new four-wheel-drive mainstream compact SUV.

Built on the highly flexible STLA Medium platform, the new Jeep Compass will have various propulsion options, from fully electric to hybrid to internal combustion. This will bring customers affordable Jeep capability, best-in-class performance, and state-of-the-art technology no matter which powertrain they choose.
The brand’s most globally available model, the new Jeep Compass, will debut in Europe. Production will begin in Melfi, Italy, in 2025 and expand to North America and worldwide in 2026.
In anticipation of the newcomer arriving in 2025, Jeep also launched a special ‘North Star’ edition of its Renegade and Compass models, thus celebrating the sales of one million units for both models in Europe since their launch. Both unique edition models are only available with a hybrid drive, 48V mild hybrid, or 4xe. The color is dark green, and the hood is partly matte black to avoid reflections.
