Traxio: ‘New speed pedelecs sales plunge, used ones surge’

Consumers are increasingly opting for the second-hand market. Over the last eleven months, the market share of used vehicles has increased significantly, from 30.3% in 2023 to 38.4% in 2024 /traxio.be

According to Filip Rylant, spokesman of the mobility federation Traxio, November confirms the trend of recent months on the bicycle market. Sales of new speed pedelecs dropped by as much as -15.1% (864 units) while second-hand sales continued to grow, with an increase of +7.6% (524 units). Consu
