Greentripper: ‘In 2024, travelers compensated 28,000 tons of CO2e’
The tool on Greentripper’s site allows travelers to calculate their trips’ carbon footprint (CO2e ), compare it to alternative transportation options, and contribute financially to climate projects /greentripper.org
Last year, travelers offset their air travel emissions by purchasing approximately 28,000 tons of CO2 equivalents (CO2e) through the Brussels-based climate consultancy agency Greentripper. The organization uses 'CO2 equivalent' because this takes into account all greenhouse gases, not just CO2.
