Mobility federation Traxio has a new chief executive officer. Emily Coenegrachts will report to the board and the strategic committee. Coenegracht has expertise from very different sectors in the industry and has been working, among others, for BPost, VIAS, and Keolis. She will start officially in her new position on the 15th of September.
Traxio expects the new CEO to bring a fresh vision on mobility and inspire the federation with her leadership skills. She will be working closely with Traxio general manager Luc Missante, who will focus on social consultation, employers’ matters, and financial management.
30 years
Traxio, formerly Federauto, is now poised to enter a new phase of growth, innovation, and extended service for its members. The new CEO also brings experience regarding federations, as she is also a board member at VOKA Metropolitan and FBAA, the Belgian federation of touring car and bus businesses.
“I’m honored to take this role in an organisation that supports mobility entrepreneurs so powerfully,” says Coenegrachts. “Our members are experiencing mobility and its challenges every day. My team and I will make their voice heard even louder in the political and societal debate. We will support them to be successful in this ever-changing world.”
Mobility of the future
“As a federation, we play a key role in making entrepreneurs, authorities, and society as a whole understand each other. I’m looking forward to building the mobility of the future with all stakeholders,” she adds.
“With Emily, we have a leader with strategic hindsight, with ties in the mobility environment, and with a heart for entrepreneurship,” says Henri de Hemptine, President of Traxio. “We look forward to a close collaboration between our collaborators, our members, our partners, and all other stakeholders.”
General Manager Luc Missante adds: “Traxio, and in fact the whole mobility environment, faces a lot of challenges. To better support our members during these difficult times, we needed a more professional structure, optimizing processes and internal collaboration as well as our external representation.”
