Genk ‘worst train station’ regarding punctuality

One in four trains arrives in Genk with at least six minutes’ delay /Belga

Nowhere is train traffic less punctual than in Genk (Flanders) and Rixensart (Wallonia). In 2024, NMBS/SNCB scored an overall punctuality score of 90%. That is, nine out of ten trains arrived at their destination "with less than six minutes delay". However, Genk's punctuality rate is only 75.7%.
