Leapmotor, distributed in Europe by Stellantis, has launched its B01 electric sedan in China, priced from 89,800 yuan (approximately € 10,685) to 119,800 yuan (approximately €14,255) for the top-trim version, offering a 650 km range and LiDAR-based ADAS.
In Europe, Stellantis is selling the A-segment T03 electric city car (~€18,600) and a mid-size SUV C10, offered as a pure battery-electric variant (BEV) or a Range-Extended Electric Vehicle (EREV). However, for now, it’s unlikely that the sedan will be offered in Europe as well.
The reason for this is quite simple: sedans have lost their glamour in the Old Continent, where most people now prefer to follow the herd, opting for an SUV, often the bigger the better.
Leapmotor’s B10 SUV is expected to enter the European market in Q4 2025, with production in Spain scheduled for early 2026. That’s a compact crossover SUV, slightly smaller than C10, built on the newer LEAP 3.5 platform with 800 V architecture.

The B01 sedan shares this LEAP 3.5 modular architecture with the B10 SUV. It’s a quite sleek four-door sedan with a drag coefficient of 0.197 Cd. It is 4.77 m long, 1.88 m wide, and 1.49 m high with a wheelbase of 2.735 m.
It is a rear-wheel drive with a single motor, available in 132 kW (180 hp) or 160 kW (218 hp) and two LFP battery options: 56.2 kWh or 67.1 kWh. This should enable (CLTC) ranges of 430, 550, up to 630 km.
All trims get the Leapmotor Pilot, powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8650 chip, which offers up to 26 advanced driving assistance (ADAS) capabilities, including NOA (highway/city navigation on autopilot) and parking assist.
The top version has twice the number of cameras, 10 in total, 12 ultrasonic radars, three millimeter-wave radars, and one 128-line lidar.

The dash consists of an 8.8-inch full LCD instrument panel and a 14.6-inch 2.5K central infotainment screen. Apparently, there are few to no physical buttons, so everything has to be controlled from the central touch screen.
Nice innovation are the six oval-shaped ‘magic expansion holes’ into the dashboard area in front of the front passenger seat.

They serve as modular docking stations, allowing you to lock in accessories like fold-out tables or trays for work, doing your make-up or having a meal, phone holders, tablet docks, or “other personal accessories tailored to passenger comfort and convenience.”
