The Leapmotor B10 is a compact C-segment electric SUV designed for global markets. Still, especially with the European market in mind, it is intended to offer a blend of performance, technology, and affordability.
On Wednesday, ordering opened in most European countries where the Chinese brand is imported by Stellantis, at a starting price of just under 30,000 euros.
Leapmotor International presented the B10 for the first time at the Paris Motor Show in October 2024, marking the global debut of its first model in its new B-series.
Leapmotor states that the B10’s dimensions are well-suited for European roads, measuring 4,515 mm in length, 1,885 mm in width, and 1,655 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,735 mm. For European taste, the vehicle has undergone advanced chassis tuning by Stellantis engineers.
Ranges of 361 to 434 km
The car offers ample space for a compact SUV, with 1,400 mm of rear legroom and 420 liters of cargo space, which can be expanded to 1,415 liters with the rear seats folded. That cargo space is complemented by 22 ‘smart’ interior storage compartments.

The B10 features a 160 kW (218 hp) rear-wheel drive and is expected to offer a range of 361 km (WLTP) with the 56.2 kWh LFP battery and 434 km with the 67.1 kWh battery.
It features an onboard 11 kW Type 2 charger and is capable of DC charging at 168 kW, allowing it to reach 30 to 80% in approximately 20 minutes. It accelerates 0-100 km/hour in just eight seconds and reaches a top speed of 170 km/hour.
The B10 comes in two trims. The Life version is already well equipped, with as a standard a 1.8 m2 panoramic glass roof with electric sunshade, 18’’ alloy wheels, a 360° parking camera, the complete ADAS package, and more. The Design trim adds ECO leather seats, ambient lighting, heated, ventilated, and electrically adjustable front seats, and some additional features.
No physical buttons

Besides a small instrument cluster screen behind the wheel, all functions and entertainment are grouped on a 14.6-inch 2.5 K touchscreen powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip.
Except for two on the steering wheels, no physical buttons are to be found. So all will be managed through the central screen, including Apple CarPlay and Android Auto (OTA update expected December 2025).
The compact SUV is built on the LEAP 3.5 platform, which is Leapmotor’s advanced, in-house developed architecture. In China, the platform supports Level 2+ autonomous driving capabilities, featuring a suite of sensors including LiDAR, mmWave radars, and high-resolution cameras. These components enable smart driving functions, such as Navigate on Autopilot (NOA) and smart parking.
More autonomous driving features to come?
For Europe, Leapmotor mentions 17 ADAS features, but gives no specific reference to LiDAR-equipped versions. In China, the brand offers a ‘Smart Driving Edition’ that includes a 128-line Hesai ATX LiDAR sensor, along with mmWave radars and high-resolution cameras, enabling autonomous driving features like Navigate on Autopilot (NOA).
NOA can steer the vehicle on highways, keeping it centered in the lane while following the navigation route, but in China. Urban NOA is designed to handle more complex city driving scenarios than highway NOA, such as navigating through intersections, traffic lights, roundabouts, and dense urban traffic.
According to Reuters, Leapmotor plans to roll out urban NOA features in Europe by the end of 2025 through over-the-air (OTA) software updates, subject to regulatory approval. This rollout could enable the B10 to handle more complex driving scenarios, such as navigating through city traffic and intersections autonomously, if allowed by local governments.
