European truck manufacturers want to weaken CO2 targets

Truck manufacturers Volvo Trucks, Daimler, Scania, MAN, Iveco, and Ford have sent a letter to the EU calling for the CO2 emission regulations for the sector to be relaxed. While they do not question the cornerstones of the current standard, they do question the stages between the annual targets.
