Share Now adds 70 BMW i3s to its Amsterdam fleet
Car-sharing specialist Share Now, the European market leader in the field, has decided to add 70 new, completely electric BMW i3 models to its fleet in Amsterdam. The cars will be gradually introduced in the months to come, but today already 40 of them will be introduced.
Share Now has been providing a car-sharing service for nine years now in Amsterdam and proposes a fleet of 300 cars. With the new i3 EVs, it wants to modernize the offer.
The first bunch of BMW i3 models in the car-sharing fleet proved to be a big success. In July last year, 30 BMW i3 cars were already added to the Share Now Fleet in the Dutch capital, and they already drove 400 000 electric kilometers through Amsterdam and its outskirts.
“In modernizing our fleet with electric BMWs, we fulfill the needs of our clients,” says Robert Bosman, MD of Share Now Nederland. “They use this model for longer hauls. In these challenging times, it’s important to have an easy access to a flexible, safe, and individual means of transport.”
With these 70 additional new BMWs, we increase the availability of our cars and, therefore, the mobile flexibility of our 93 000 customers,” Bosman concludes. Share Now will continue to modernize its fleet of shared cars. Soon, a bunch of new Smart EVs will be added to the fleet as well.
