Australia promises net-zero CO2 emissions by 2050

After he got a lot of international criticism, the Australian Prime Minister, Scott Morrison, suddenly confirmed his presence at the COP26 in Glasgow and even presented ambitious climate targets. Scientists and climate crusaders are not impressed though, and consider the plans ‘political opportunism’ /AFP
