Frenchman Pierre Voineau is the new Director General at Citroën Belux, the Stellantis Group Belgium – Luxembourg announced in a press release. Voineau, who was Product and Business Development Director at Renault’s Software République from November 2021 till now, replaces Damien Martin-Cocher, who joined in January 2021 and moves on within the group.
According to the press release, Voineau is bringing with him ‘considerable experience’ in the automotive sector. Software République, where he worked before, is an open innovation ecosystem created by six large companies (Atos, Dassault Systèmes, Orange, Renault Group, STMicroelectronics, and Thales).

It has set clear objectives to help create a European ecosystem for sustainable, sovereign, and safe mobility. Its roadmap is to launch ten new services and products, incubate 50 or more start-ups, and offer services in more than 50 geographies worldwide by 2025.
Created only two years ago, Software République staged the world premiere of a collaborative concept in June at the Viva Technology 2023 exhibition. H1st vision ( for ‘Human First vision’) incorporates functional and innovative technologies that illustrate its human-centered visions of future mobility.
