Hongqi ownership includes private driver service

Hedin Automotive, the Swedish multi-brand retailer and recent importer of the Chinese brand Hongqi in Belgium offers 50 hours of chauffeur service to clients buying a Hongqi E-HS9.

The owner of a new Hongqi receives a voucher after purchasing a E-HS9 with a personal code to be used in an application of Get Driven, a company offering the renting of private drivers in Belgium.

Big beast

Hedin Automotive opened the doors of its first Hongqi showroom in Belgium (Brussels) on Tuesday. Until now, only the E-HS9 SUV is for sale, a ‘big beast’ of an SUV measuring 5,2 m in length and offering 6 to 7 seats inside a luxurious interior.

Onlookers who see a certain resemblance to big European high-luxury SUVs aren’t mistaken. The former responsible for the Cullinan design at Rolls-Royce is also the father of this Hongqi E-HS9.

The Hongqi is a full-electric SUV available in three different versions with different ranges, starting at a fascinating ‘basic’ price of € 69 995, considering what you get for it.

Initiating partners

Get Driven is a pioneer and the market leader in Belgium, where chauffeur services are concerned. It was founded in 2016 by Gunther Ghysels and hires student drivers to haul customers from and to their destinations in their own cars.

Hedin Automotive is a daughter of the Swedish Hedin Mobility Group. It started in Belgium in 2018, overtaking 7 Mercedes-Benz dealerships. This has grown to 20 dealerships end of 2022, making it the most important Mercedes-Benz distributor in Belgium.

Last year, Heden Automotive went into multi-branding by overtaking several Toyota and Lexus dealerships and opening a brand-new one in Geel (Antwerp province) in 2023.

It also runs three specialized body repair shops and has become this year the importer of the Chinese brand Hongqi but also of the Ineos Grenadier.
