By the end of this year, PricewaterhouseCoopers Belgium and MINI Belux will deliver 200 brand-new full electric MINIs to their starting employees.
With the delivery, the company will have a total of 300 electrified MINIs in its fleet. By replacing 200 BMW 1 series diesel cars with new electric MINI Cooper SE models, the company saves 400 tons of CO2 annually.
Zero emissions by 2028
In 2021, professional services provider PwC Belgium committed to reducing emissions from its fleet by 20% every two years, aiming to generate net zero emissions by 2030.
Thanks to the new fleet, PwC Belgium will be able to achieve its ambition for an emission-free fleet two years earlier. PwC Belgium now has EVs at all functional levels and will double the number of electric vehicles in its fleet by the end of this year.
More sustainable
Patrick Boone, Chairman of PwC Belgium: “This delivery is a significant step forward in making PwC Belgium more sustainable. […] With this switch to electric MINIs, we will achieve our net zero goal of an emission-free fleet in 2028 instead of 2030.”
