Verkor’s Dunkirk Gigafactory should produce its first battery by 2025, after which the production capacity should ramp up to 50 GWh by 2030.

Grenoble-based industrial start-up, Verkor, has announced it will build the third battery Gigafactory of France in Dunkirk. The foundation stone for the plant should be laid in 2023, and the first high-performance, low-carbon battery should be delivered by 2025.
