EU plans to inject 42 billion euros in its chip industry

On Tuesday, Internal Market Commissioner Thierry Breton will present the European Chips Act. It embodies the ambitious plan of the European Union to leverage the research in and production of its chip industry. Though not yet approved, the Union wants to invest 42 billion euros in the sector, doubling its presence on the global market
