VW: two new Chinese joint ventures to secure battery production

On Monday, automotive group Volkswagen unveiled an agreement with Chinese partners to secure battery production in Asia. Together with Huayou Cobalt and Tsingshan group, the German giant will create two joint ventures to strengthen its position. The first one will be specialized cobalt and nickel production, while the second one will be in raw material
