Zeekr 7X on sale in Europe starting at €52,990

Zeekr, part of the Chinese Geely group, has launched its flagship electric SUV in Europe. The Zeekr 7X offers a range of up to 615 km, with ultra-fast charging thanks to an 800V architecture and a roomy, premium interior for a starting price of €52,990 in the Netherlands.

The Zeekr 7X is the third electric model from the Chinese premium brand to make its way to Europe, after the 001 shooting brake and the Zeekr X compact SUV. The 7X slots in at the top of the range as a 4,787 mm long SUV, with space on board for up to five people.

New design language

Interestingly, the Zeekr 7X does not share many design traits with its smaller brothers. The SUV’s nose is dominated by a full-width LED light bar, whereas the X and 001 opt for traditional separate headlights. The rear is also more minimalistic than the other Zeekr models.

Inside, the dashboard is fully digital, with a relatively small digital cockpit and a massive 16-inch touchscreen running Zeekr’s third-generation interface. An augmented reality head-up display is available as an option. Passengers can also enjoy AI-powered ‘ZeekrGPT’ voice control, while 11 cameras and a radar power the driver assistance systems.

800V LFP or NMC battery, up to 615 km range

Under the hood (or rather, the floor), the Zeekr 7X uses the latest iteration of Geely’s SEA platform, with an 800V battery system. The standard ‘Premium’ model gets a 75 kWh LFP battery, while the ‘Long Range’ and ‘Performance’ models get a 100 kWh NMC pack with a higher energy density. Zeekr estimates a maximum range of 480 to 615 km WLTP respectively.

In both cases, charging goes rapidly. The theoretical maximum charging speed is 480 kW, but Zeekr says that a 360 kW fast charger will already charge the battery from 10-80% in just 13 minutes for the 7X Premium or 16 minutes for the 7X Long Range and Performance. A 22 kW onboard AC charger comes as standard for regular charging in 4.5 to 5.5 hours.

Power comes from a single 310 kW (421 hp) and 440 Nm motor in the rear axle for the Zeekr 7X Premium and Long Range or a dual-motor solution with a total output of 470 kW (639 hp) for the 7X Performance. This variant can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds. Active air suspension is optional.

From €52,990 in the Netherlands, other markets to follow

The Zeekr 7X is now available to order in the Netherlands (from €52,990), Sweden (579,000 SEK), and Norway (539,900 NOK), with the first deliveries expected in the Summer of 2025. Other markets will likely follow as Zeekr expands its European market coverage.

The brand also offers 5+5 years of warranty (or 100,000+100,000 km), with the second portion coming into play when customers use the Zeekr Service network for regular maintenance. The battery is always covered for 8 years or 200,000 km.
